That one went all the way under.

I wonder how many drivers have done it more than once?

I just came here to post this. I’m impressed the truck got on 2 wheels!

You would think by now they’d drop the elevation of the road.

I know, it doesn’t look like it’s moving that fast, but it must have been.

This camera needs sound for instances like this. Perhaps someone who nears close to the bridge should start a site like www.11foot8.com

What does it say on the back? All I can make out is “Setting the standard in FUCKING SHIT REKTREKTREKTEXCELLENCE”

So I’ve read, apparently such a thing is easier said than done when it comes to railroad bridges...and towns rather just watch truckers ignore clearly posted signs then invest in either raising the bridge or dropping the road...

Definitely would be easier to drop the road than raise the bridge, but another solution would be beam detectors that can turn on signals at the bridge when they detect a vehicle over a certain height.

Well, we COULD try to learn american truckers how to read. That’d help as well.

Doesn't look like the car behind him expected that either. Surprise!
![]() 08/21/2015 at 15:55 |

It would probably cost less to drop the road.

what the heck did he say at the very end?

The 11foot8.com bridge has that...apparently they get ignored. lol Stupid municipalities. My town decided to build a train bridge in an area where it was completely unnecessary. 18 month project to the tune of an untold amount of millions...yet these towns can’t even drop a road a few feet.

It took me a while and a bit of checking on their website.
“I’m in Westwood, Jorge Quiroga, WCVB.”

Probably true, but as a former truck driver I just can’t fathom how this happens. I spent almost six years driving both semis and other big trucks in most of Europe and I never once hit a bridge.

Setting the standard for food distribution excellence.
And YES I do realise you’re making a joke :P

The scariest part about this is that the other drivers just turns around, not giving a fuck about what happened with the guy/gal who hit the bridge.

he distributed it alright.
ALL OVER THE ROAD HUEHUEHUEHUE
